HTX Falls Under Sanctions Restrictions

02.06.2026
In late May — early June, the HTX platform, formerly known as Huobi, came under sanctions restrictions and was added to the list of prohibited platforms.
Following this update, any transactions where the source of funds is directly linked to HTX or passes through addresses associated with this exchange are considered ineligible for processing. Under AML control, such incoming funds are not accepted as they may carry increased sanctions and compliance risks.
This rule is applied to protect users and comply with internal security requirements during exchange operations. Checking the source of funds helps identify problematic addresses in advance and avoid situations where an exchange request cannot be completed after the funds have been received.
Before creating an exchange request, we recommend checking the sender’s address through the AML service. If the funds have previously passed through HTX or there are doubts about the transfer chain, our AML-checker will help provide the necessary details. You can also contact the support team in advance to clarify the information.
