Bitcoin Stable Amid ETF Inflows and Dormant Wallet Activity

01.07.2024
Bitcoin’s price held steady above $62,800, showing low volatility and strong market resilience. The stability is supported by ongoing inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, marking the fifth consecutive day of positive net inflows.
On July 1 alone, total inflows reached $129 million, with $65 million going to the Fidelity Bitcoin Trust (FBTC) and $41 million to the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB).
At the same time, analysts observed activity from previously dormant wallets. Notably, on July 2, 33.99 BTC, untouched since June 2011, were transferred. The unknown wallet owner redistributed over $2.1 million worth of BTC across two new addresses.
Experts note that Bitcoin’s price stability and renewed activity from dormant addresses could signal growing investor confidence and increased interest in crypto as a long-term store of value.
